Multi-Media Players

Multimedia players are able to store content in the form of Photos (JPEG), Music (MP3 etc) and Video (MPEG etc) and DVDs (.ISO) for conection to virtually any display from a small in car screen to a High Definition 1080p plasma, LCD or projector. Audio is output in stereo, Dolby Digital, DTS etc according to source material. DVD files are reproduced as if the original disc is being played...(all original features included: Menu, Chapter, Audio Stream, Subtitle, Fast Forward, Rewind, Slow, Pause, Step Forward, Repeat, Search etc.).

The players are available 'bare-bones' or with your choice of HDD size fitted. They are all easily portable so you can take all your photos, music, video including camcorder footage to another location, be it a friend's house to display on their Projector, Plasma, LCD , TV or a business meeting/presentation. They can also function as a backup device for your computer too !

Files are simply transferred via a USB2 cable from your PC or Laptop. Alternatively the domestic/office models can stream from a networked computer or server if you choose not to fit an internal hard drive. The ftp (File Transfer Protocol) facility allows downloading directly via a broadband connection to the HDD without a computer being left on.

All this may sound rather confusing or complicated but be assured that we can explain the options and functions in layman's terms and not quote abbreviations and acronyms to blind you with science !
